Largest pumpkin, stem left on.
Braid of garlic, roots trimmed.
5 garlic, with 1-1 1/2" tops attached, roots trimmed.
Largest field squash, ornamental.
Largest tomato, free from cracks or blemishes, do not remove calyx.
Largest onion, trim top 1-2" above bulb, well dried, not peeled, roots removed just below bulb.
Largest potato, brushed clean.
Most unusually shaped vegetable, must be free of blemishes.
2 pie pumpkins, stems left on.
5 table carrots, any variety, uniform size, tops removed approximately 1/2" above crown, washed not scrubbed.
5 yellow cooking onions, uniform size
5 spanish onions, uniform size, trim tops 1-2" above bulb
5 beets, uniform size, trim tops to 3/4" above crown, rubbed clean, not washed or scrubbed, root may be trimmed to 1".
1 head of cauliflower.
1 hubbard squash, any colour, wiped clean, stem left on.
2 pepper/acorn/table queen squash, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
2 butternut squash, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
2 buttercup squash, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
2 squashes, any other variety, named, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
6 ears sweet corn (for table use), uniform size.
5 sweet green peppers, uniform size, 1/2" stems left on.
5 sweet red peppers, uniform size, 1/2" stems left on.
5 peppers, any other variety, named, uniform size, 1/2" stems left on.
5 tomatoes, uniform size, do not remove calyx.
12 cherry tomatoes, uniform size, do not remove calyx.
12 grape tomatoes, uniform size, do not remove calyx.
5 roma tomatoes, uniform size, do not remove calyx.
5 slicing zucchini, 8" or under, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
2 eggplants, uniform size, wiped clean, stems left on.
5 leeks, uniform size 1-2" bulb, root trimmed to 1/2", foliage trimmed in a V-shaped fan.
3-L basket roma tomatoes, uniform size, do not remove calyx.
3-L basket potatoes, red or white, table stock, brushed clean, named.
3-L basket sweet peppers, red or green, uniform size, 1/2" stems attached.
