Welcome to the 2024 Masterfeeds Canadian Beef Show hosted by The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair!

Specials for the 2024 Shorthorn Competition include:
Premier Exhibitor Award An award is presented to the exhibitor with the most points for animals owned and shown by the exhibitor based on their highest (6) placings in the individual classes. All animals accumulating points for this award must be the entries of one exhibitor. In the case of joint-ownership, the exhibitor must be specified, otherwise the joint owners will be considered as one exhibitor / entry. Banner presented by The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair |
Premier Breeder Award
An award is presented to the individual company (as recorded on the Certificate of Registration) whose animals accumulate the highest total points based on their highest (6) placings in the individual classes. To be eligible for the Premier Breeder Award, the breeder must exhibit at the show. Qualification for this award is based on Canadian rules that specify all owners at the time of conception are the breeders of the animals.

Stewart Boyd Memorial Trophy
Presented to the Junior Female Champion by Mrs. Suzanne Boyd and Family, Michael and Debbie in memory of the late Stewart Boyd.
The Harold R. White Trophy (Perpetual)
Presented to the Grand Champion Female by the Canadian Shorthorn Association in recognition of the contribution to the Shorthorn breed by the late Mr. White. A memento will be presented to the winner.
The Will A. Dryden Memorial Trophy (Perpetual)
Presented to exhibitor of the winning Get of Sire by Mrs. Margaret Dryden to honour the memory of her husband, the late Will A. Dryden. Mr. Dryden was a charter member of the RAWF, its first president from 1919 to 1923, managing director from 1936-1949 and a member of the executive committee from the commencement of the RAWF in 1922 until his death in 1949. A memento will be presented to the winner.
Reford W. Gardhouse Memorial Trophy
Presented by the Gardhouse family to the exhibitor of the winning Breeder's Herd. Reford Gardhouse was the President of the Ontario and Canadian Shorthorn Association and The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
Bennett Trophy (Perpetual)
Presented to the owner of the Grand Champion Bull in memory of Mr. & Mrs. S.G. Bennett, recognizing their contributions towards the Shorthorn breed.
Shorthorn Championship Trophy (Perpetual)
Presented to the exhibitor of the Best Shorthorn of the Show by the Shorthorn Society of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Shadybrook Farm Award
$2,500 will be awarded by Laurence Pathy.
Born before January 1st, 2022 with her own 2024 natural purebred tattooed calf at foot.
